15 Rose Shelor
I have always drawn, painted and written stories. In February, I transitioned to teaching online instead of in the classroom and I turned to art as my way to process life. As a child, my dad would take me on lots of nature walks and teach me how to identify birds and trees. As a kid, I thought that was a really boring activity, but now as an adult, I find myself turning to painting birds and leaves and other nature items as something that's really calming, grounding, and close to my heart. I take my paintings and drawings and turn them into prints, greeting cards, and stickers. I also take commissions if someone has a favorite bird or wants a painting of their pet.
