Do you want nutrient-dense greens for salads, garnishments and smoothies? We have been piloting a microgreen program as a part of our mission for the last several months and are eager for it to grow legs and be of benefit to you!
What are Microgreens?
Microgreens are a small form of edible seedlings produced from a variety of vegetables and herbs. They are usually used for their concentrated flavoring and compact aesthetic appearance, offering a good source of vitamins and nutrients. Microgreens are delicate, fresh-cut produce that should be stored in the refrigerator and washed before consumption. They generally last a week or more if stored properly.
We have grown sunflower, peas, popcorn and radishes in the past. We will be starting the service with sunflowers and adding more variety over time. If you have a request, please share it with us.

Amount per week
0.25 lb per week : $20.00 USD per month
0.50 lb per week : $40.00 USD per month
0.75 lb per week : $60.00 USD per month
1.00 lb per week : $80.00 USD per month
This project is in the early-adopter stage, so we're looking for 10 customers that will give us feedback on how to improve the experience of getting and using microgreens.
Because of our organization's focus on environmental sustainability, we ask customers to bring containers that will be filled at pickup.
After all orders have been filled, whatever product remains will be sold as 'overage' at a discount on a first-come first-served basis. Anyone here on pickup day can buy overage, whether they have ordered microgreens or not. However, as part of our focus on sustainability, we try to grow what we need with as little waste as possible, so the amount available should be very limited.
